KCC exhibit 2018 scheduled for this weekend

KCC_Exhibit _PosterKathmandu / July 26: Kantipur City College (KCC), a pioneering college in information technology and engineering affiliated to Purbanchal University (PU) since 2000, is organizing KCC exhibit 2018, a students’ project exhibition this weekend (28 – 29 July 2018, 9 am till 5 pm) at KCC premises in Putalisadak, Kathmandu. The theme for KCC exhibit 2018 is “Innovate, Integrate and Sustain”. The event is aimed at display of student’s innovative works to interact with industries, organizations and academic institutions.

A total of 45 innovative projects (from ICT, Electronics and Civil Engineering Departments), 2 game stalls, 4 food stalls, musical concert and seminar on the theme “Smart City for Sustainable Development” are major attractions of this exhibition. We are expecting 20,000+ visitors in these two days. Some interesting projects include College++ (a mini MIS system), Lipi (for Nepali learning), SuperWall (game), nepse.today (portfolio of personal stock details), Smart Stick (for visually impaired people), Water level tracking, Traffic Management Model, Single Pole Suspension Bridge, Hydraulic Bridge, Hill-Station Slider and many more. The musical concert will feature prominent Nepali singer Aastha Raut and comedian Jitu Nepal.

The seminar on the theme “Smart City for Sustainable Development” will feature presentations on smart city, urbanization, SDGs, development & sustainability from ICT, energy and other perspective.

An inauguration program will be organized at 9:00 am on Saturday (28 July 2018). The event will be graced by Vice-Chancellor of PU Prof. Dr. Ghanashyam Lal Das as Chief Guest and Dean of School of Science and Technology at PU Prof. Dr. Subh Narayan Pathak, Research Director at PU Prof. Dr. Min Raj Dhakal and invitees from other colleges, universities, government bodies, companies, supporters and other individuals will also attend the program. This will be followed by the visit to all the KCC exhibit 2018 stalls.
