Vials of anti-venom distributed

Hetauda, July 28: Considering the rising temperature and rainfall, anti-venoms vials have been distributed in various districts of State no. 2 and 3. The vials have been supplied considering the likelihood of increased incidents of snakebites in the region.

The Regional Medical Store, Hetauda has supplied those vials to the health institutes in Dhanusa, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara and Parsa of State no. 1 and Sindhuli and Chitwan of State no. 3.

A minimum of 150 to a maximum 800 vials were reached to the district hospital, health posts and primary health care centers, according to chief of the store, Raman Jha. Accordingly, anti-venoms vials are now available at Janakpur zonal hospital, Narayani Sub-regional hospital, Mahottari district hospital, Rautahat district hospital, Kalaiya district hospital, Malangwa district hospital, Nawalpur health post in Sarlahi and Nijgadh health post in Bara of State no. 2.

In State no. 3, the vials are available in Sindhuli district hospital and Bharatpur hospital. RSS
