Nuwakot, July 28: The District Administration Office has collected revenue worth Rs. 2.69 million in the previous fiscal year 2074/75.

According to the details made public on Friday, the highest revenue collection was from making of passports in the district. A total of 4,968 locals acquired their passports and thereby paying Rs. 2.6 million in fees, according to administrative officer Nanda Lal Sharma. Another, 4,500 were recommended for quick service in developing their respective passports.

Accordingly, almost 9,000 locals of Nuwakot acquired their passports in the past one year.

Other sources of revenue collection for the district in the previous fiscal were organisation registration, renewal, transfer and renewal of ownership of arms, administrative penalty, examination fee, arrears recovery, judicial penalty etc. RSS
