PM lays foundation stone of Ayurvedic hospital in Jhapa

Ayurveda-UtensilsJhapa / Aug. 22: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today laid a foundation stone of an Ayurvedic Hospital at Kamal rural municipality-7 in Jhapa.

The facility going to be constructed by the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction under the Ministry of Urban Development will have 50 beds. It is said to have an emergency ward, an OPD, a surgery section, an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a pharmacy and pathology services.

Earlier, nine people collectively donated two bigha of land for the construction of the building. A bigha is equal to about 6,773 square meters.

The Department’s division office plans to complete construction works by the next 22 months and it is estimated to coast Rs 172 million to build a two and half story structure, as said by project supervision committee coordinator Mani Kumar Bhandari. RSS
