70 local levels to get ambulance

Ambulance ServiceDharan / Oct 12: The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law of Province 1 has decided to provide ambulances to as many as 70 rural municipalities of 14 districts in the province by launching ‘Chief Minister Highly Essential Services Centre’.

Ambulances would be distributed to 70 local levels in the first phase aiming to run health care services and anti-disaster campaign in each local level of the districts.

According to the Ministry, rural municipalities with an access to road would be given ambulances of same colour with the logo of the province government.

It is said that Rs 120 million has been allocated to procure the ambulances in Province 1 and they would be handed over by December as the procurement process was already initiated, an official at the Ministry shared.

Likewise, Minister for Internal Affairs and Law of the province, Hikmat Karki, shared that the Ministry was also working on preparing infrastructures for security measures, measures to mitigate disasters, among others. RSS
