Cabinet approves Prez visit to Qatar

Kathmandu / Oct 28: The government has approved the official visit of President Bidya Devi Bhandari to Qatar. President Bhandari is paying a four-day official visit to the Gulf kingdom at the invitation of the amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani beginning Monday.
The meeting of the cabinet held at Baluwatar on Sunday also decided to relieve General Manager of Gorkhapatra Sansthan Basanta Prakash Upadhyaya from the post.
Likewise, the government has given authority to Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Gokarna Bista on behalf of the government of Nepal to sign the MoU of much-awaited labor pact with Malaysian delegation led by Human Resource Minister M Kulasegaran.
