Nepal, Qatar sign MoU in two separate issues

President in QatarQatar / Oct 30: Two separate memorandums of understanding (MoUs) have been signed between Nepal and Qatar on Tuesday.

The MoUs were signed on the second day of President Bidya Devi Bhandari’s ongoing official visit to the State of Qatar.

Nepal and Qatar have signed an understanding to facilitate the visits of diplomatic, governmental and special passport bearers without visa. Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani signed the MoU in this regard.

Likewise, agreement was signed on exchange of bilateral cooperation on agriculture and food security. Minister Gyawali and Qatar’s Minister for Municipality and Environment Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi signed the agreement on behalf of their respective governments.

On the occasion, Minister Gyawali said that such agreements would help further widen the relations, cooperation and co-work existing between the two countries. RSS
