PM Oli resumes work partially from hospital’s bed

Oli after nominationKathmandu / Oct 15: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has started carrying out his duties informally from the hospital itself.

Prof Dr Arun Sayami, giving information on the Prime Minister’s health condition, said the PM has started working by convening a meeting with the Ministers for Defence, Home Affairs and Energy.

The Prime Minister is recuperating at the Manmohan Cardiovascular and transplant Centre at the TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.

“The Prime Minister has slept well and taken his food comfortably. We have given advice that he should stay in the hospital for some days only for rest,” Dr Sayami said.

Hospital director Dr Uttam Krishna Shrestha said about the PM’s health thus, “The Prime Minister’s health has been improving every hour in the period since he was admitted to hospital on Monday till now. He has been advised that it would be appropriate for him to stay in hospital for few days more to complete the remaining anti-biotic course.”

A press note on the health condition of the Prime Minister, issued by the hospital at 10 am today, states that the medical test reports for the morning were satisfactory and there has been further improvement in the PM’s health. RSS
