National Medical Education bill in priority

Nepal ParliamentKathmandu / Nov 18: The sub-committee of Education and Health Committee under the House of Representatives (HoR) has prioritized the National Medical Education bill on the agenda of the forthcoming HoR meeting.

The sub-committee meeting today decided to make preparations accordingly, Secretary Jibaraj Budhathoki said, adding that the report would be submitted to the committee before the HoR meeting, for which the sub-committee picked its member Bhairab Bahadur Singh as the coordinator.

The secretariat has been directed to hold the meeting with the HoR members who had filing for amendment in the bill.

Similarly, the subcommittee is to demand the report of the medical education study commission led by Judge Gauri Bahadur Karki through the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
