CBS begins discussions to launch National Census, 2078

Kathmandu / Jan 30: The Central Bureau of Statistics has started discussions to launch the National Census, 2078.
A joint meeting of the National Statistics Council and the National Census Steering Committee took a decision to this effect, said CBS’s Director Dhundi Raj Lamichhane.
The meeting chaired by Vice Chairperson of the National Planning Commission Dr. Pushpa Raj Kandel also decided to forward the necessary process to endorse the national census and management directives for the national census indicators.
Discussions will be held in all seven provinces, 77 district coordination committees and 753 local levels in this regard, he said adding that six provinces except Karnali Province are in consultations at present. RSS
