Madhyapur Thimi Municipality constructing view-tower

Bhaktapur / Mar 6: Madhyapur Thimi Municipality is going to construct a view-tower at Natyashwari road that leads to local Sanothimi from Lokanthali.

First of its kind in the district, the visitors will be able to get a panoramic view of Kathmandu valley, Manohara river, SOS school, the settlements around Divyashwari, Tribhuvan International Airport, as well as the Himalayan range.

Mayor of Bhaktapur Municipality Madan Sundar Shrestha ensured that the three-storey tower and other structures will be constructed within three years.

The tower will be surrounded by structures including a park, a temple, artificial rock climbing, gymnasium, public toilets, among others. A two-story community building at the area would also be freshly painted and managed.

The view-tower and other structures would be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 70 million. The Municipality has allocated Rs 7.5 million for this purpose this year. RSS
