Indian Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale calls on PM Oli

Kathmandu / Mar 28: Visiting Indian delegates led by Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale have called on Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, on Thursday.

During the meeting, both the leaders held discussions on strengthening bilateral relations and deepening mutual co-operation between the two South Asian neighbours today.

Before meeting PM Oli, Indian Foreign Secretary Gokhale also paid a courtesy call on Nepal’s Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali at latter’s office in Singha Durbar this afternoon.

Likewise, the delegates also held discussions with Nepal’s Foreign Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi.

According to a statement issued by the Embassy of India, the two Foreign Secretaries reviewed all aspect of wide-ranging bilateral partnership and exchanged views on regional and other issues of mutual interest.

Indian Foreign Secretary, Vijay Gokhale is paying an official visit to the Himalayan nation from 28-29 March 2019.
