Sustainable Development-Centric Student magazine ‘Management Scholars’ launched

Kathmandu / Apr 20: The seventh edition of a student magazine Management Scholars has been launched at Kantipur City College at Putalisadak, Kathmandu today with focus on sustainable development.

The magazine was launched jointly in presence of chief guest of the program Krishna Raj BC, Secretary at Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. Addressing the program, chief guest BC stated that the government is soon bringing out a new national educational policy focusing on research and practicum. He also stressed on aligning the academic research with the professional and corporate sector.

Senior journalist Prof. Rama Krishna Regmee shed light on the importance of magazines in a digital age. Acting Principal of the college, Raju Kattel, appreciated the student efforts and expressed that such initiatives help both the individual students and the quality of education as a whole.

The magazine was published in the coordination role of two BBA 2014 batch students, Sunita Thapa and Manila Karki and the program was conducted with support from BBA 2015 batch. Students from 2015 batch Nilisha Bajimaya and Tilak Bahadur BK hosted the program.

The program was held in the chairmanship of historian and founder of the college Hemant Shumsher Rana. From the college side, Chairman Suman Katawal, Managing Director Dr. Pralhad Karki, Director of Operations Mina Karki, Chief of Administration Rajiv Timalsina and BBA Program Coordinator Ambika Deoja Kunwar addressed the program.
