Panchakanya gives advanced plumbing training to 175 youth

Kathmandu / Apr 20: Panchakanya Group, in association with Sekisui (Japan) and Starline Enterprises (India) has provided advanced training to 175 Nepali plumbers, including four women.

The 2-day Advanced Plumbing Training Program 2019, which completed on Thursday, had commissioned professional trainers from Starline. Issuing a press statement, the company said it was an international-standard plumbing training.

The event was conducted with the aim to provide the Nepali youth with skills for self-sustenance so that they could find well-paying work within the country. Panchakanya Group is the first ever private company in Nepal to initiate such vocational training in plumbing including women workers, the statement said. The company has planned to organize similar training sessions in eastern and western Nepal this year.
