Hetauda Sub-metropolis starts distributing ‘smart driving licence’

Hetauda / May 22: Province 3 has started the registration and renewal of smart driving licence from the Transportation Management Office, Thanabharyang, in Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-11 of Makawanpur district.

Chief Minister of the Province, Dormani Poudel inaugurated the distribution of the driving licence by presenting a smart licence to the service seeker. He was of the view that the distribution of smart licence would improve the transportation service in the region.

The CM assured that the initiation taken by the Transport Management Office (TMO) based in Hetauda would be carried on so that none could argue over it, unlike in Kathmandu and Birgunj which faces irregularities in its action.

The TMO provides services like registration and renewal of driving licence, tax renewal, trail pass, road permit, and vehicle registration, informed Section Officer Poshan Thapa. Source: The Himalayan Times
