Finance Minister Khatiwada inaugurates VCTS, all commodities to be registered under it

Kathmandu / July 17: Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada has inaugurated Vehicle and Consignment Tracking System(VCTS) today in the capital.

The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers had issued a circular on the VCTS signed by the Chief Secretary Bishnu Prasad Lamsal on July 8, 2019.

The circular stated that the VCTS would be effective from July 17, 2019.

The VCTS is a system of tracking commodities sold in the market.

According to the VCTS, the details of all the goods that are taken from one place to another for a commercial purpose must be registered under a centralized information system before they are transported.
