Lalitpur metropolis uses broomer machines to clean dusty roads

Kathmandu / August 9: Lalitpur Metropolitan City has started cleaning roads using two broomer machines.

Speaking at a program organized in Lalitpur on Friday, the mayor of Lalitpur Municipality Chiribabu Maharjan informed that two broomers were brought into operation in a bid to make the municipals a dust-free zone.

The Italian-made high-tech broomer that cost Rs. 44,811,280 will be operated under the supervision of the Environment Department of the metropolis.

Metropolitan has also operated two water tankers together with the sweeping machines. Mayor Maharjan told Republica online that the municipal office is highly committed to promoting green-urbanization.
