Mobile library in place to promote reading culture

Banke / August 15: The Gyanodaya Community Library and Resource Centre Kohalpur has operated ward-level mobile library programme for advancing reading culture.

Chetkanta Bhattarai, chair of the library, shared the mobile library programme has been put in place to promote reading culture. He further shared that the initiative was operational to mark the 12th National Library Day as well.

The mobile library which was initiated from Kohalpur municipality-14 was gradually taken to its other wards, he informed. Once the library is operated in ward-14 for three consecutive days, it will be taken to another ward.

Lut Bahadur Rawal, mayor of the Kohalpur municipality, expressed the happiness over the very relevant concept of mobile library. The drive will be significant for the educational development of Kohalpur area, he noted.

Mayor Rawal expressed his confidence that the initiative will contribute to enhance educational activities and reading culture in every wards of the municipality. RSS
