Moderate to heavy rainfall predicted for three days

Kathmandu / August 20: The monsoon has continued in the country as the eastern low pressure belt, ranging from north Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi to West Bengal of India and having the origin in the Bay of Bangladesh, is at the average point, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

Issuing a special bulletin today, the Department predicted moderate to thundershowers at most of the places of the country for three days. Citing the reason, the Department requested one and all to adopt alertness.

The Department issued the warning for next 24 hours and pointed out possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two places of eastern and mid-hilly areas of the country.

As per the latest weather details of the Department, some places of the country have now been witnessing light to moderate rainfall. RSS
