Nepal slides down in ODI ranking

Kathmandu / August 23: Nepal has moved one position down in the ICC ODI rankings.

In the new ranking chart unveiled by ICC, the global governing body of cricket on 22 August, Nepal descended to 16th position from its earlier 15th position with 19 points ratings.

The chart includes 18 ODI playing nations. The UAE and Papua New Guinea are at the bottom of the list.

England currently holds the top spot followed by India and New Zealand. Australia and South Africa are placed in the fourth and fifth positions respectively.

Nepal, on the other hand, is placed in the eleventh position in the T20 rankings which was published on Friday. The T20 chart is led by Pakistan with England (Second) and South Africa (Third).
