NC general secy accuses PM Oli of trying to impose dictatorship

Kathmandnu / Sept 11: General Secretary of the main opposition Nepali Congress Shashank Koirala has accused Prime Minister Oli of trying to impose dictatorship by controlling all the state powers.

General Secretary Koirala made the remark while inaugurating the third general assembly of Federation of Nepal National Party Palace and Catering in Gaindakot on Wednesday.

“Congress party will fight against the government’s attempt to change the constitution,” said Koirala.

Stating that the federal democratic republic system has been institutionalized after a seventy-year-long persistent struggle of Nepali people, Koirala said that NC will be always against the government’s attempt to institutionalize totalitarianism by changing the constitution. He also stated that the government has failed to live up to people’s expectation.
