Nepal Police arrests US national on charge of paedophilia, rescues three young girls

Kathmandu / Dec 9: The Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police said on Monday that it has arrested United States citizen Jason Lloyd Moody on the charge of paedophilia and rescued three young girls from his clutches.

The US citizen was arrested from Memorial Guest House at Tribhuvan International Airport on Sunday. The CIB said the 40-year-old man (passport number 567472535) Illinois of the US was arrested on the charge of sexually abusing children in Kathmandu.

According to a press statement issued by CIB, the US national would sexually abuse children by offering food and money.

Police have seized his passport, a laptop, four mobile phone sets, ATM, Master card, bank chequebooks and a student identity card issued by Bishwa Bhasha Campus, Exhibition Road.
