Trade fair being held in Pokhara next month to promote VNY 2020

Pokhara / Dec 12: National Industrial Trade Fair is being organized in Pokhara next month in a bid to promoting Visit Nepal Year 2020.

Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) Pokhara chapter is scheduled to host the fair for 11 days beginning from January 3.

According to the organizing committee, the fair is expected to facilitate in promoting industrial, agricultural and handicraft products along with providing a suitable atmosphere for their marketing.

The fair aims to explore tourism prospects of Gandaki province and trade expansion.

According to the chairperson of FNNCI Pokhara Damu Adhikari, the fair, with a motto of ‘Protection of investment and promotion of industries and entrepreneurship’ is expected to witness the participation of home-stay entrepreneurs. He said that the fair will play a vital role in introducing as well as promoting tourist spots within the province.
