KMC to launch ‘street people free city’ campaign

Kathmandu / Dec 13: Kathmandu Metropolitan City is all set to launch a campaign to make the metropolis a ‘street people free zone’.

On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, the metropolis is launching the campaign in coordination with District Administration Office, Nepal Police, Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens, and Manab Sewa Ashram.

According to mayor Bidya Sundar Shakya, the street people will be rescued and be provided with a decent atmosphere to live in.
