Sarad Memorial Senior Tennis Tournament kicks off

Kathmandu / Dec 25: The Sarad Memorial Senior Tennis Tournament has kicked off in the Capital from Wednesday.

Organized by Sarad Memorial Foundation, a total of 46 players have been participating in the tournament.

Players from 45 to 75 years have been participating in the tournament organized in memory of late Sarad Shrestha, who list his life in a trafic accident. Sunil Shrestha, who is the main organizer of the event and brother of Sarad, informed that the tournament was organized to promote healthy living of senior people in memory of his late brother.

The tournament will be held till December 28. The winner and runner up will receive cash prize and trophey.

The matches are being held in Naulin Sports Villa Sundarbasti Bhangal. Naulin Sports Villa has been operating International Level Tennis Courts with the objective of promoting healthy living through sports.
