NOC slashes gasoline prices by Rs 10

Kathmandu / Apr. 01: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the price of petrol and diesel/kerosene each by Rs 10 per liter.

The meeting of the NOC board of directors held on Wednesday decided to revise the price of petrol and diesel/kerosene.

With the revised price which will come into effect from midnight today, the new price of petrol in Kathmandu valley is Rs 94.50 per liter whereas the price of diesel and kerosene is Rs 97 per liter and the price of aviation turbine fuel is Rs 83.50 per liter. It has also published the price list for other major cities around the country.

According to the NOC, the reason behind the decrease in price of fuel is due to the widespread outbreak of the coronavirus and the revised price by Indian Oil Corporation.

Similarly, the NOC has also slashed the price of aviation turbine fuel. As per the new price rate, fuel for domestic flights costs Rs 75 while USD 0.95 per liter will be charged for international flights.
