PM calls everyone to play national anthem at 8 am on Monday

Kathmandu / Apr. 12: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged one and all to play national anthem from home at 8 am on the New Year day, as a tribute to those who are on the frontline in a fight against COVID-19.

Stating that the program entitled ‘Play the national anthem’ being organized by Global Compact Nepal as a good initiation, PM Oli requested all the people to join the campaign to extend respect to all the medics, security personnel, emergency service staff, cleaners, supermarket staff, and everyone else striving hard for the safety of Nepal and Nepalis.

Earlier, the organizer appealed the public to show their solidarity by joining the national anthem at 8 am on New Year’s day from their terrace or balcony.
