One more COVID-19 case confirmed, number of total cases reaches 52

Kathmandu / Apr. 26: The Ministry of Health and Population on Sunday confirmed yet another coronavirus case.

According to assistant spokesperson for the ministry, Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari, a 50-year-old man from Jhapa was diagnosed with COVID-19 at the Biratnagar-based Koshi Hospital earlier this evening.

The man is in regular contact with the hospital and doing well, according to Dr Adhikari.

With this, the number of total confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nepal has climbed to 52. Earlier today, the ministry had confirmed two other cases from Birgunj.

The ministry also confirmed the recovery of four more patients on Sunday.
