314 New cases reported; National COVID-19 tally hits 3,762

Kathmandu / June 8: The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 314 new cases of COVID-19 today.

As many as 314 persons, 294 males and 20 females from Morang, Sunsari, Jhapa, Saptari, Janakpur, Syangja, Kaski, Parsa, Bara, Rautahat, Dang, Banke, Bardiya, Dailekh, Surkhet, Argakhachi, Kapilvastu, Nawalparsi, Palpa, Pyuthan, Rupandehi, Sarlahi, Mahottari tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours, informed Dr Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry, in the daily press briefing today.

The virus has now spread in 71 out 77 districts.

Meanwhile, 21 COVID-19 patients including one female and 20 male from have been discharged from the hospital after recovery.

With this, the national COVID-19 tally has reached 3,762, including 488 cases of recovery and 14 death cases.

The remaining patients are receiving treatment in vairous hospitals nationwide.
