TU to conduct all postponed examinations after Chhath festival

Kathmandu / Sept 23: Tribhuvan University (TU) has made preparation to conduct all examinations postponed due to COVID-19.

A meeting held among TU Executive Council, Examination Reform and Coordination Council and Central Examination Operation Committee on Tuesday decided to ask the concerned offices to start preparation in order to conduct all postponed examination after Chhat festival.

Examination Controller of TU Office of the Controller of the Examinations , Pushpa Raj Joshi, said that the TU has directed the bodies concerned to start preparation in order to conduct the examination along with alternative of attending the examination from student’s convenient place after Chhat festival.

Similarly, the TU has already sent a circular to the concerned Deans’ offices to make public the routine of all postponed examinations due to COVID-19 before Dashain for the same.

He said, “We are in preparation to conduct examination after Chhath festival in this situation. All examinations will be conducted if the situation does not go worse as compared to this situation.”

Joshi shared that the TU Office of the Controller of Examinations today would send circular to all deans’ offices to start preparation for examination. TU would make arrangement of conducting examination by determining physical distance and health criteria. The TU would conduct annual examination while concerned dean offices semesters examinations.

TU Registrar Prof Dr Peshal Dahal shared that the TU has already directed the concerned offices to make preparation for conducting examination.

He added that preparation has been made to run classes from coming March after conducting all examinations within mid-February. RSS
