Former chair of Bibeksheel Sajha Ujjwal Thapa no more

Kathmandu / June 1: Former Chairperson of Bibeksheel Sajha Party Ujjwal Thapa has passed away.
Thapa was admitted to Mediciti Hospital after he tested positive for COVID-19.
Monita Pokhrel, communication officer of the Hospital, informed that Thapa had passed away at 4:25 pm today while under treatment.
Although he tested negative for the virus on Monday, his health was critical, according to the doctors who were involved in his treatment.
A few days before his death, he was provided treatment through the Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) method at Nepal Mediciti Hospital, Kathmandu.
Before being shifted to Mediciti Hospital, Thapa received treatment at HAMS and Grande Hospital in Kathmandu.
