Umesh Shrestha appointed state minister for Health

Kathmandu / July 25: Umesh Shrestha has been appointed as state minister for Health by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, today.

The President’s Office issued a statement on appointment of Nepali Congress lawmaker Shrestha as the state minister of Health and Population by President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.

Meanwhile, PM Deuba, even after expanding the cabinet, will continue to hold the Health Ministry portfolioShrestha is the founder chairman of Little Angels Education Group and the Chairperson of Private and Boarding School Organization Nepal (PABSON).
