Acharya announces his candidacy for NRNA presidency

Kathmandu / Sept 26: Former Vice President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), Kul Acharya has announced his candidacy for the post of the association’s president. Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on Sunday, Acharya announced his candidacy for the post of NRNA president.

The 10th Global Conference of NRNA is scheduled to be held from October 23 to 25 in Kathmandu. Acharya said that he made the decision to make the NRNA more respectable, dignified and prestigious.

Acharya also said that he will start the work to provide employment to youths who lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic under ‘One NRN, One job’ campaign, Nepali language classes for children who grew up abroad and virtual classes for app development, and establish an ‘NRNA Sports Academy’. He also said that an agreement will be made with various health institutions to provide health care at reasonable prices for NRNs and their family members in Nepal.
