5 party alliance to take initiatives for smooth running of parliament

Kathmandu / Jan 7: The high-level political coordination committee meeting of the ruling alliance held at the official residence of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Friday has decided to take initiatives for the smooth running of parliament.

Announcing the decision made by the meeting, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said that the obstruction in parliament is not fair in any way. He said that the role and duty of the opposition would be the same as that of the government to make parliament run without any obstructions.

Similarly, the meeting also discussed the upcoming National Assembly elections, scheduled to be held on January 26. Minister Karki also said that the ruling alliance has formed a committee for the National Assembly elections.
