256 new cases on RT-PCR, 911 recoveries and two deaths in 24 hrs

Kathmandu / Feb 23: As many as 256 people have been found infected with the novel coronavirus through the PCR test of the swab samples of 5,103 people in the last 24 hours.

56 people were also found positive for the virus through the antigen test of 3,590 people in the same period, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).

When combined with the positive cases found through the PCR test and the antigen, the number of people infected with the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours stands at 312.

In the same period, 911 got over the virus infection while two succumbed to it.

With the two new deaths in the last 24 hours, Nepal’s COVID-19 death tally has reached 11,930.

There are100,90 active cases of the novel coronavirus as of today, according to the MoHP.

135,790 people were vaccinated against the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours across the country.
