PM Deuba in New Delhi for 3-day visit

Kathmandu / April 1: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba reached New Delhi this afternoon for a three-day official visit.

Indian officials including State Minister for Defence of India Ajay Bhatt and Ambassador of Nepal to India Shankar Sharma received Prime Minister Deuba upon his arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Dr. S. Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister of India, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Deuba at Hotel ITC Maurya this afternoon

Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to lay a wreath at Rajghat on Saturday morning and then hold a bilateral meeting with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House before noon which will be followed by the exchange of agreements and press statements.

In the afternoon on Saturday, Prime Minister Deuba will pay a courtesy call to the Vice President of India.

On Sunday morning, Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to address a programme in Varanasi and then fly back home in the afternoon.
