Tunnel would be constructed along Siddhababa road section: Home Minister Khand

Chhabi Lal Pande / Butwal, July 2: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has said that Nepali Congress (NC) will mobilize its all efforts on upcoming provincial and federal elections.

He was speaking at the honour and congratulation programme for the elected representatives from NC organised by NC Rupandehi Constituency – 2 on Saturday at Butwal.

Home Minister Khand said that tunnel construction work will be started at the landslide-affected stretch of the Butwal – Palpa road section at Siddhababa in the coming fiscal year. He also said that government would also construct a tunnel at the Daunne of Butwal – Narayanghat road section.

Saying tunnel construction will be started along Majhimtar to Saktikhor road section he mentioned that the government would manage safe travel to connect Lumbini with employment.

He expressed commitment to try his best to develop specially Rupandehi as an industrialized and tourist-chosen destination.
