MoPH urges to visit nearest health post if anyone missed vaccination campaign

Kathmandu / Oct.22: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has urged denizens to visit the nearest health centers for administering Vitamin A capsules and deworming tablets to children in case they missed the national Vitamin A campaign of 19 and 20 October.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Vitamin, A capsule is being given to children between six months to five years while deworming tablets are being administered to children from one year to five years in the two-day-long nationwide campaign starting on Wednesday and will be given for 14 more days.
Vitamin A is being given since 1997 and deworming tablets is being administered nationwide since 2001 to reduce the risk of health complications and malnutrition in children.
