‘Govt. serious to solve problems related to interest rate hike, liquidity crunch’

Kathmandu / Dec. 8: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has said that the government is serious about the problems of the entrepreneurs due to the rise in the interest rate and crunch in liquidity.

Addressing the ‘Feen Electro Tech 2022’, the finance minister said that the government was working in line with the suggestions put forward by the joint task force of the private sector, Rastra Bank, Ministry of Commerce and Finance Ministry.

He urged the business people to concentrate, as usual, on business rather than take to the street for agitation.

Minister Sharma said he had proposed in the Cabinet for government intervention to solve the problems of the private sector.

“As the government is ready for cooperation with the private sector to formulate policy to solve problems of the business sector, it is not suitable for the business people to opt for the street agitation,” he said.
