Metropolis will revive the dabali culture: Mayor Shah

Kathmandu / Dec 15: The mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), Balendra Shah has said that the metropolis will revive the dabali culture.

Addressing a program organized on the occasion of the 28th Metropolitan Day in the capital on Thursday, Mayor Shah said that the KMC is going to revive the dabali culture in the Kathmandu Valley.

He said that the dabalis inside the valley will be used for public awareness programs. He insisted on reawakening the original civilization and heritage of the Kathmandu Valley. Mayor Shah said that cultures should be passed on to the new generation. He also said that the original instruments should be documented and taught to the new generation.
