Presidential, Vice-presidential election to be held by March 14: CEC Thapaliya

Kathmandu, Dec. 19: Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya has informed that the election of President and Vice President will be held by March 14.

Addressing a reception organised by the Election Commission on Monday, CEC Thapaliya said that with the completion of the election of the President and Vice President by March 14, every level’s elections for the second term after the promulgation of the constitution will be concluded.

At the reception, President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Acting Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki, National Assembly Chair Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, among other dignitaries, were present.
