Festival to be organised to promote homestay

Awinash Chaudhary / Dhangadhi, Dec. 21: Home Stay Festival will be organised at Bhada of Kailali District’s Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City -16.

Bhada Tourism Development and Management Committee is going to organise the festival with an aim to promote homestay along with local arts, cultures, and foods in Tharu homestay village.

The organiser has informed that the festival will be organised from 29 Dec to 1 Jan 2022.

Committee Chairman Laxmi Narayan Tharu said that the Bhada Festival is going to be organised to expose the identification of Tharu through tourism entrepreneurs.

The organiser has estimated that a total of 55,000 people will visit the festival.

Cultural presentations from National and local level artists, Tharu food items, Tharu, Tharu skills and customs will be the major attractions of the festivals.

A total of 20 households have baan running homestays since 2067 BS.
