PM to talk with all sides to resolve issues

Kathmandu / Feb 4: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said he would hold talks with all parties to resolve the issues raised by Rashtriya Swotantra Party (RSP).

RSP has piled pressure on the Prime Minister to confer the home ministry portfolio on RSP, as its Chairman Rabi Lamichhane had lost the post of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister after his citizenship was annulled by the Supreme Court on January 27.

Talking briefly to the media persons emerging from the party central office at Paris Danda this afternoon, PM Prachanda said he would hold talks with all sides and resolve the issue. “I am holding talks after some time. The issue will be resolved.”

On Thursday evening, a joint meeting of the central committee and parliamentary party of RSP decided to provide two days to PM Prachanda and UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli to decide on whether they agree to give the home ministerial portfolio to RSP.(RSS)
