‘Govt will announce special programmes to resolve people’s woes’

Deukhuri / Feb 11 : Minister for Communications and Information Technology Rekha Sharma has said that the government was preparing to announce special programmes to troubleshoot the key problems of the citizens. She said that preparations are ongoing with special priority to include those programmes in the upcoming budget and make people feel better.

At a meet the press programme organized by Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Lumbini Province Committee at Bhalubang of Dang district on Saturday, Minister Sharma, also the spokesperson of the government, shared that the government has paid attention to forge consensus for the election to the President.

She also informed the media that talks are ongoing to bring the Rastriya Swatantra Party onboard the government.

Likewise, Minister Sharma stated that the government has focused its attention on drafting new laws along with their implementation in regard to the area of information technology adding that replacement of the old-fashioned laws and drafting of the new ones is the need of the hour.

Minister Sharma added that regulation and management of online media is a focus of the government. RSS
