Pace of development will accelerate now: PM Prachanda

Kathmandu / Mar 31: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that pace of development in the country will accelerate now as the government has got almost a full shape with today’s expansion of the Council of Ministers.

“My experiences in the last 100 days have bolstered my confidence that a lot of progress can be made in different sectors in a short span of time. For instance, we have got some success in good governance such that there are no long queues to get passport,” said PM Prachanda while addressing a function to mark the 25th anniversary of the Reporter’s Club.

He said there was much progress in foreign reserve in the country compared to the condition when assumed office over three months ago. Similarly, there has been a good progress in revenue collection as well, he said.

PM Prachanda dismissed rumours that the country was in an economic crisis and affirmed that there are difficulties and the difficulties can be overcome.
