Kami Rita Sherpa summits Mt Everest for 28th time

Kathmandu / May 23: Nepali mountaineer Kami Rita Sherpa has managed to reach the summit of Mt Everest for the 28th time. He also holds the record for the person who has climbed Mt Everest the most times.

He joined the Seven Summit Treks Pvt Ltd for the 28th time he climbed Mt Everest and this is his second ascent this season. Within a week, he has managed to reach the summit of Mt Everest for the second time.

Seven Summit Treks has reported that the 28th successful ascent of Mt Everest was made at 9:23 in the morning today. Earlier last Wednesday, he reached the peak of Everest for the 27th time. But after Pasang Dawa Sherpa of Solukhumbu Pangboche equaled the record by climbing Mt Everest for the 27th time, Kami Rita again managed to climb Mt Everest and regained the title.
