NC’s Karki and Maoist Centre’s Angbo from same coalition stake claim for Koshi CM

Biratnagar / Oct 12: Nepali Congress (NC) provincial assembly member Kedar Karki has staked a claim for the position of Chief Minister in Koshi Province with the support of CPN-UML provincial assembly members.

Karki staked his claim for the Chief Minister position with the support of 39 UML and 8 NC lawmakers on Thursday. This is seen as a meaningful development, as a section within the NC wants to break the current coalition with the Maoist Center both at the federal and provincial levels.

Similarly, Indra Bahadur Angbo of CPN (Maoist Center) has also staked a claim for the post of Chief Minister of Koshi Province. He staked his claim for the Chief Minister position with the support of the ruling coalition partners in the federal government.
