NC general secretary Sharma presents political proposal at Mahasamiti meeting; NC leader Koirala supports agenda of hindu nation

Kathmandu, Feb 20: General secretary of the Nepali Congress, Bishwa Prakash Sharma, has presented a 10-point political proposal at the Mahasamiti meeting of the party that began today.

General secretary Sharma presented the proposal that was refined as per the suggestions that he received from the central executive committee meeting.

Titled as the ’15-year dream on the basis of policy, procedure and date’, the document has the topics such as option of democracy: enriched democracy, democratic culture for enriched democracy, coalition: challenging journey of different opinions, participation in government: achievement, challenges and expectation, good governance in Nepal: character, challenges and remedy, dissatisfaction in the people: top of the cause and root of the solution, common obligation of the state and politics, multi-dimensional psychology of Nepali society that the politics needs to identify, solve and bring together and refinement in system and transformation in condition.

NC leader Koirala supports agenda of reinstating vedic hindu nation

Shashank Koirala, former General Secretary of the Nepali Congress (NC), has thrown his support behind the reinstatement of a Vedic Hindu nation, as he signed the campaign in favor of it.

The Vedic Hindu nation establishment campaign, led by Central Working Committee (CWC) member Shankar Bhandari, launched a signature campaign at the venue of the Mahasamiti meeting in Godavari, Lalitpur. On Tuesday, former General Secretary of the party, Koirala, also signed in favor of the campaign.

With this, the number of NC central members who have signed in favor of the campaign has reached 31. The leaders of the campaign said that more than 400 convention delegates have signed up to support the cause so far.
