CIB arrests two former CEOs of Century Bank, 10 others

Kathmandu / Feb 27: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) arrested two ex-Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of Century Bank, along with 10 others, for banking offenses, on Tuesday.

Manoj Neupane, who previously served as the CEO of Century Bank, later assumed the position of Deputy CEO at Prabhu Bank following the merger of Century Bank with Prabhu Bank.Neupane is alleged to have been involved in irregularities related to loan disbursements at Century Bank prior to the merger.

Additionally, Tulsiram Gautam, another former CEO of Century Bank, has also been apprehended by the CIB for the same.The duo along with 10 others were arrested from various locations of Kathmandu for their roles in potential financial misconduct that transpired within Century Bank, CIB said.
