RSP dismisses Mukul Dhakal from General Secretary, Spokesperson and CCM

Kathmandu / July 9: The Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has suspended Dr Mukul Dhakal from the post of General Secretary.

The meeting of the party’s Central Committee has decided to dismiss Dhakal from the post of General Secretary, Central Member and Spokesperson of the party.

The acting Spokesperson of the RSP Manisha Jha said that it has been proved that the code of conduct was violated.

By keeping in mind the recommendation of the disciplinary committee to take action to maximum capacity, the party has made a decision to dismiss Dhakal from his post of general secretary, and spokesperson whilst retaining him as a member of the party as per Article 56(3) of Party Statues.

He said that an appeal can be submitted within 35 days as per Article(57) if he is dissatisfied with the decision of the party.

The disciplinary committee had made a decision to even dismiss him as a member of the party.
